This is a 7.2 and 7.3mm Japanese Akoya pearls and 14K solid gold vintage ring with the original box from Mikimoto.

Mikimoto is the most respected fine jewelry brand in Japan specializing in pearls. The company was founded by Mikimoto Kōkichi, who had invented cultured pearls.
Mikimoto was a royal warrant jeweler from 1924 until a bidding system was established in the late 20th century.
Their most famous items are the imperial family’s tiaras, which are worn by empresses and princesses.

The pearls on this ring have a excellent luster, excellent surface quality, and excellent nacre quality.
They have white body color with rose and blue overtones.

The pearls Mikimoto uses for rings are the best of all Akoya pearls from Japan.

The 14K gold ring has “K14” and the Mikimoto logo (“M” in an Akoya oyster design) stamped on the back.
